New York, NY — [12/05/2025] — Silicon Data, the industry leader in GPU market intelligence and benchmarking, today announced an update to its flagship A100 and H100 Rental Indices, alongside the launch of the world’s first B200 On-Demand Rental Index, providing unprecedented transparency into the next generation of AI compute economics.

With more than 500 enterprise, financial, and semiconductor clients globally, Silicon Data’s indices have become the trusted benchmark for measuring GPU pricing, useful life, and infrastructure cost dynamics. These updates mark one of the most substantial expansions of Silicon Data’s coverage since its inception.

Revised A100 and H100 Rental Indices

The A100 On-Demand Rental Index and H100 On-Demand Rental Index indices have been enhanced to reflect growing market heterogeneity and the maturation of GPU rental markets.

Key enhancements include:

  • Expanded provider coverage across hyperscalers, neoclouds, regional data centers, and specialized GPU platforms.

  • Improved normalization methodology incorporating interconnect type, cluster scale, geography, and performance variance.

“As the H100 and A100 markets mature, we see predictable stabilization curves and residual value patterns that differ significantly from short-term narratives. Our updated indices reflect that reality.” said Carmen Li, CEO of Silicon Data.

In addition to public benchmarks, Silicon Data is launching new A100 and H100 Hyperscaler On-Demand Rental Indices, available exclusively through the Silicon Data Portal.

These hyperscaler indices provide:

  • Real-world pricing signals from large cloud providers

  • Normalized comparisons for on-demand contracts

  • Insight into long-term infrastructure economics inside hyperscale environments

  • A deeper view into how hyperscaler pricing diverges from neocloud and marketplace trends

These exclusive benchmarks give enterprises and investors a high-resolution understanding of how hyperscaler economics evolve as the market transitions from A100/H100 toward B200-class infrastructure.

Launch of the World’s First B200 Rental Index

The new B200 On-Demand Rental Index establishes the first standardized benchmark for pricing NVIDIA’s B200 platform, anticipated to power the next generation of frontier-scale AI training and inference.

The B200 Index captures:

  • Early pricing across on-demand from neo clouds and marketplaces

  • Adjustments for GPU configurations

  • Supply–demand signals as B200 adoption accelerates across hyperscalers and neoclouds

“With B200 clusters defining the next cycle of AI infrastructure, transparent benchmarks are critical,” said Li. “We’re proud to be the first to publish a standardized market signal for B200 pricing.”

A Step Toward Standardization in AI Infrastructure Markets

The expanded index suite—now including A100, H100, Hyperscaler A100/H100, and B200—is available on Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and the Silicon Data Portal, with API access for enterprise clients.

These indices enable:

  • More accurate planning of AI infrastructure budgets

  • Improved asset valuation and depreciation modeling

  • Risk management for GPU-linked financial products

  • Clear visibility into supply-chain bottlenecks such as HBM, packaging, power, and cooling

As AI hardware adoption accelerates globally, Silicon Data’s benchmarks are becoming foundational to financial institutions, cloud operators, and semiconductor leaders.
